this is a massive compilation of my favorite doodles from my classes this past year. all of these were done in either, Asian Studies 121, Japanese Language and Society, or Modern Japanese Literature. There must be something about Asian Studies classes that brings out the doodles... (I honestly would judge the class for that day by how well my doodles turned out.)
I begin the semester always trying not to draw and actually pay attention. and then I allow myself to doodle in the margins a little bit... and then a lot. and eventually by the end of the semester I just give up and use most of the notebook paper for drawing. productive.
most of these drawings are either my character skate, other random OCs, my ragnarok online characters (which lots of variations on outfit design......) or Okami fan art. or nidoran
I may not get much finished art out of the school year, but I do draw!!
Haha, yes the infamous "Doodle Density Postulate". I've noticed it too. You can date a page of my notes going by the amount of doodles in the margins; as the semester wears on, the density increases.
Fun doodles, though. Love the Okami one.

~The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play (James T. Kirk)
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
